TRIP & FALL SETTLES FOR $200,000 AFTER JURY SELECTION

Plaintiff, an infant, tripped over broken pavement in Maria Hernandez Park in Brooklyn and her right arm landed on a piece of metal protruding from the pavement, causing a fracture.

Our infant plaintiff had fractured bones in her right forearm and underwent open reduction internal fixation leaving her with scarring on both sides of her forearm. After jury selection, before Justice Kenneth P. Sherman in the City Part, Kings County Supreme Court, associate Steven Levy, Esq. of SILER & INGBER, LLP, settled the action for the original settlement demand of $200,000.00.

Steven never deviated from our demand and held firm as the Defendant made incremental offers. Infant Plaintiff and her parents are extremely relieved and satisfied with the result.
