SUFFOLK COUNTY PLAINTIFF RECEIVES $250,000

Our client was a 49-year-old woman driving down Route 110 in Farmingdale, New York when Defendant exited a nearby parking lot on Conklin Street and cut across three lanes of traffic on Route 110 in an attempt to make a u-turn.  Defendant’s vehicle struck our client, and the force of the impact knocked her vehicle into the concrete median.  As a result of the impact, our client suffered severe injuries resulting in more than 30 spinal injections to relieve her pain.

Despite an independent insurance arbitration panel finding that Defendant was completely at fault for the accident, Defendant continued to place blame for the accident on our client.  After fighting on her behalf for more than two-and-a-half years, Ronald Ingber settled the case for $100,000.00 which was Defendant’s entire insurance policy.  However, because of our client’s extensive injuries, Ronald Ingber pursued an additional $150,000.00 (the most possible out of our client’s own Supplementary Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists policy), bringing the total settlement amount obtained for our client to $250,000.00, the maximum amount of insurance coverage possible in this particular matter.
